We’re Recruiting: Imaging Sales Executive

Change Healthcare UK is seeking to hire an Imaging Sales Executive to join its expanding sales team.

The Imaging Sales Executive will be responsible for leading the sales process and driving to closure new Cardiology opportunities for Change Healthcare in the UK. The role also requires the sale of imaging ‘add-on’ opportunities in assigned existing accounts within the territory.


  • Execute and lead sales projects to capture larger business opportunities and maximise sales results through integrated offerings of products/services which cross business lines.
  • Identify and sell Imaging add-on opportunities to assigned existing accounts within the territory.
  • Working as part of a team, lead sales projects to completion. Create strong working relationships with Marketing, Bid Management, Product Management, services and Professional Services throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate resolution of major sales objections and customer escalations presented by potential and existing customers.
  • Present credible experience/solutions to the key decision makers, including C Suite.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Imaging clinical workflow & technical architecture.
  • Define and demonstrate the Imaging Customer’s solution in conjunction with other members of the team, Product Management Technical Marketing and Solution Architects.
  • Pre-influence NHS customers prior to commencement of formal procurements processes.
  • Manage the contracting process to assure successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate resolution of all major customer satisfaction issues presented by any assigned customers.
  • Effective follow up of company / tradeshow events to identify and close new sales opportunities.
  • Take an active role in proposing strategies, and influencing the organisation to embrace strategies, to grow business within the Imaging market.
  • Take an active role in proposing strategies to target key growth areas outside of the Imaging department for Workflow and Infrastructure solutions.
  • Engage with opportunities outside the acute hospital sector.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.

Additional Job Information:

At times required to achieve challenging deadlines & may involve periods of personal stress. Availability for significant travel to customer sites. High degree of variability related to product / process changes and customer demands.

Critical Skills:   

  • Customer focus:
    • Highly motivated individual with proven ability to successfully manage customer relationships
    • Healthcare Sales experience with emphasis on Diagnostic Imaging solutions, software and services delivery to NHS hospitals and/or UK Private Imaging services providers. Ideally with a successful track record of Cardiology Solutions and/or Radiology PACS sales experience.
    • Experience selling to the NHS and private market segments preferred.
    • Strong negotiation, conflict management & customer service skills.
    • Self-starter with exceptional commitment to providing superior proactive customer service.
    • Effectively communicate to customers in both written and verbal forms, including the ability to convey difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
    • Ability to work proactively and independently within a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Desirable: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
